In a Facebook post that had garnered more than 49,000 shares at the time of this story’s publication, Davenport described an event when her train was stalled at South Station. A conductor, who had asked a group of black teenagers to quiet down, called on MBTA police after the teens “mouthed off,” according to Davenport.

When the MBTA police arrived, they asked the teens to de-board. The teens obliged. The officers then ordered a 16-year-old boy to leave, as well.

The 16-year-old wasn’t part of the group—he told the police this, Davenport wrote, but they still ordered him off.

A long awaited lift to the prospects of desperately needed boost to small to medium business enterprise in Croatia has finally surfaced, promising to prop-up the dying economy and revitalise job numbers, create new jobs there where it counts when it comes to preventing people leaving Croatia in search of jobs elsewhere. Small and medium business has always been the backbone and sustenance of a stable and solid economy – it’s taken Croatia many years to actually help the idea of this fact infiltrate what occurs on the ground and, so, this is great news.

This is a repost from the 4th of July post I did last year, with a couple of updates. I hope you enjoy it! Happy 4th, everyone!

As Canada Day, 2016 has receded into our maple leaf memories, rising up to greet us a few days later is the 4th of July!

The “4th of July” is also known as, “Independence Day”; in 1776, the United States affirmed its independence from (then, “Great Britain”) the United Kingdom.  The thirteen colonies who were then at war with Britain, considered themselves each an independent sovereign state, and no longer part of Britain.  They formed a new nation which we now know as the United States of America.

I am so incredibly blessed to have connections in both the US and Canada.  To me, each country has its own unique and undeniably commendable features; I love both countries! Oh…
