Sounds of the Son

It used to be much colder there
And it seems to me the polar bears
Were a little bit more playful

It’s news to me, the solar flares
But what seems to be a global scare
Won’t get air time on cable

We used to be much cooler when
We carried books and rulers, pens
Things were far more simple

We grew to be such ghoulish men
That swipe through phone, and foolish trend
With fingers far more wrinkled
