NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A ceremony is being held to mark the 22nd anniversary of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
One Feb. 26, 1993, a rental van filled with explosives blew up in an underground garage at the trade center’s north tower, killing six people and injuring more than 1,000 others.
A ceremony will be held Thursday at the 9/11 Memorial, where the six victims’ names are inscribed in bronze on the north side of the north reflecting pool alongside the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
An exhibit on the 1993 attack will also open at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
